PARISA MARJAN

Parisa Marjan is the scent of soft power — warm, unhurried, impossible to look away from.
It opens golden and unguarded — bergamot and mandarin lifted by sweet almond and crushed green leaves. The heart blooms slowly into jasmine, coconut cream and white lily, softened by orange blossom into something quietly disarming. As it settles, vanilla, sandalwood and dry amber sink into the skin like the last hour of daylight — soft, golden, impossible to manufacture.
Egyptian amber is not a single note. It is the warmth that holds everything together — the glow of gold, the heat of late sun, the memory of somewhere you've never been but already know.

PROCESS & CRAFTSMANSHIP
Parisa Marjan was composed around Egyptian amber — a material that doesn't sit at any one stage of the fragrance but holds the entire composition together. The opening lifts on bergamot, mandarin and sweet almond. The heart blooms through jasmine, coconut cream and white lily. The dry-down settles into vanilla, sandalwood and dry amber.
Macerated for weeks before bottling. Hand-finished in small batches. The result is a fragrance that doesn't peak and disappear. It deepens. By the eighth hour you are still wearing it — and so is the room.
After blending, Parisa Marjan is left to macerate — a resting period where the raw materials integrate, settle, and develop complexity. This is the step most mass-market fragrances skip entirely. When production is optimised for speed, the juice is bottled within days of compounding. It smells finished. It isn't.
Maceration is what separates a fragrance that smells good in the first five minutes from one that still holds its character eight hours later. It's slow. It's inefficient. It's why Parisa Marjan doesn't smell like it was made last week — because it wasn't.
Parisa Marjan is produced in limited runs, not continuous manufacturing. Each batch is mixed, macerated, and bottled as a single cohesive production — not pulled from an industrial vat that's been running for months.
Small-batch production means tighter quality control, higher consistency between bottles, and the ability to work with materials that don't scale to mass production volumes. It also means we occasionally sell out. That's a trade-off we accept. We'd rather have every bottle be right than have every bottle be available.
Frequently Asked Questions
THE FRAGRANCE
Parisa Marjan is built for longevity, not just first impression. Most wearers report 8 hours of noticeable presence on skin, with the dry-down (sandalwood, vanilla, musk, and amber) often still detectable the next morning on clothing and fabric.
Longevity depends on skin type — drier skin tends to absorb fragrance faster, so applying to well-moisturised skin or pulse points helps extend wear. The opening notes (citrus, green, almond) will evolve within the first 30–60 minutes into the jasmine and coconut heart, before settling into the warm woody-amber base that defines the signature.
This is not a fragrance that fades after a few hours. It is designed to still be present at the end of your day.
Parisa Marjan projects with intimacy, not volume. In the first 1–2 hours, the bright opening carries soft projection — enough to be noticed in close conversation and leave a gentle trail when you move through a space. It is not a fragrance that announces itself from across the room. That is deliberate.
As it settles into the dry-down, the sillage becomes more personal — a warm, golden presence that people notice when they lean in. This is what creates the "what are you wearing?" moment rather than the "that's strong" reaction.
If you prefer more projection, apply to pulse points on the neck, wrists, and behind the ears. For a subtler wear, a single spray to the décolletage or hair creates an all-day personal scent experience.
Both. This was a deliberate design decision.
The opening is bright and approachable (citrus, green, almond) without being heavy or overpowering, which makes it comfortable for professional settings and daytime wear. A single spray is enough for the office, a meeting, or a casual lunch.
For evenings, events, or occasions where you want more presence, two to three sprays will open up the projection and let the jasmine heart and amber dry-down settle into something more deliberate.
The versatility is a function of the composition — soft enough for subtlety, deep enough for impact. It depends on how much you apply, not what you apply.
Parisa Marjan was designed as feminine-leaning, but like all Haus of Ariya fragrances, it is unisex. The composition — bright citrus, white florals, creamy coconut, and a warm amber-woody base — has historically been associated with women's fragrance, and many of our customers are women. But scent does not have a gender. Anyone drawn to warmth, golden florals, and a soft amber dry-down will find Parisa Marjan suits them.
Worn by a man, it reads as confident, warm, and unexpected. Worn by a woman, it reads as luminous and feminine. Worn by anyone, it reads as Parisa Marjan.
THE BRAND
Most amber, vanilla and floral fragrances at lower price points use synthetic accords — lab-created molecules designed to approximate the depth of natural materials. They can smell convincing in the first few minutes, but they tend to flatten quickly, lose complexity, and take on a sharp or sweet edge as they dry down.
Parisa Marjan is formulated with higher-grade raw materials and built at full Eau de Parfum concentration. The result is a scent that evolves on skin rather than simply fading. The opening is distinctly different from the heart, and the dry-down is different again — a progression that lower-concentration or synthetically driven fragrances rarely achieve.
We also macerate our formulations — a resting period after blending where the materials integrate and develop depth. This is the step most mass-produced fragrances skip because it adds time and cost. It is also the step you can hear in the difference.
Parisa Marjan is formulated and produced in small batches, with final bottling and hand-packing completed in Sydney, Australia.
The fragrance was developed over a two-year period of research and refinement, drawing on traditional Arabian perfumery principles and modern formulation techniques. Every batch is macerated before bottling — a resting process that allows the raw materials to integrate fully and develop the depth and complexity you experience on skin.
We do not operate on continuous manufacturing. Each production run is mixed, rested, and bottled as a single batch, which allows us to maintain tighter quality control and work with materials that do not scale well to mass production. When a batch sells out, the next one is produced fresh.
They were designed as counterparts, not competitors.
Parisa Marjan opens bright and unguarded (citrus, green, almond), moves through a creamy floral heart (jasmine, coconut, orange flower), and settles into a warm amber-woody dry-down (sandalwood, vanilla, musk, amber). It is luminous, soft, and designed to draw people closer.
Oud Levant is built around a different emotional register — clove, saffron, tobacco, and oud accord — a fragrance that holds a room rather than warms it. Where Parisa Marjan invites, Oud Levant arrives.
Many of our customers own both. Worn together — by a couple, in a shared space, or layered on the same skin — they create something neither does alone. If you are unsure which suits you, our sample program lets you test both before choosing.
ORDERING
Every full bottle order includes a complimentary 2mL sample vial, so you can experience Parisa Marjan on your skin before committing to a full bottle.
We designed the program this way because fragrance is personal — the same composition smells different on every person's skin chemistry, and you deserve to test that before investing. Spray the sample on your wrist, live with it for a full day, and let the dry-down develop. The first five minutes are not the fragrance. The last five hours are.
If it isn't right for you, we offer returns within 14 days of delivery. No fragrance is for everyone, and we would rather you find the right scent than keep one that doesn't feel like yours.
CUSTOMER REVIEWS
BEHIND THE SCENT
Parisa Marjan was born in the gap between two worlds — the golden warmth of the Egyptian sun at its highest and the soft hush of an evening that refuses to end. It is what happens when light meets longing. A fragrance for those who understand that warmth is its own kind of presence — quiet, magnetic, impossible to manufacture.
Parisa Marjan is an invitation. A declaration of softness as power. A fragrance for those who draw people closer without ever raising their voice.

From the founders
"We did not set out to make a fragrance that everyone would like. We set out to make one that the right person would never forget."
Haus of Ariya was built by two Australian perfumers who found their purpose in a Cairo fragrance stall and spent two years turning it into something real. Every bottle is mixed, rested, and hand-packed in Sydney.
