Parisa Marjan is built for longevity, not just first impression. Most wearers report 8 hours of noticeable presence on skin, with the dry-down (sandalwood, vanilla, musk, and amber) often still detectable the next morning on clothing and fabric.

Longevity depends on skin type — drier skin tends to absorb fragrance faster, so applying to well-moisturised skin or pulse points helps extend wear. The opening notes (citrus, green, almond) will evolve within the first 30–60 minutes into the jasmine and coconut heart, before settling into the warm woody-amber base that defines the signature.

This is not a fragrance that fades after a few hours. It is designed to still be present at the end of your day.

Parisa Marjan projects with intimacy, not volume. In the first 1–2 hours, the bright opening carries soft projection — enough to be noticed in close conversation and leave a gentle trail when you move through a space. It is not a fragrance that announces itself from across the room. That is deliberate.

As it settles into the dry-down, the sillage becomes more personal — a warm, golden presence that people notice when they lean in. This is what creates the "what are you wearing?" moment rather than the "that's strong" reaction.

If you prefer more projection, apply to pulse points on the neck, wrists, and behind the ears. For a subtler wear, a single spray to the décolletage or hair creates an all-day personal scent experience.

The opening is bright and approachable (citrus, green, almond) without being heavy or overpowering, which makes it comfortable for professional settings and daytime wear. A single spray is enough for the office, a meeting, or a casual lunch.

For evenings, events, or occasions where you want more presence, two to three sprays will open up the projection and let the jasmine heart and amber dry-down settle into something more deliberate.

The versatility is a function of the composition — soft enough for subtlety, deep enough for impact. It depends on how much you apply, not what you apply.

Parisa Marjan was designed as feminine-leaning, but like all Haus of Ariya fragrances, it is unisex. The composition — bright citrus, white florals, creamy coconut, and a warm amber-woody base — has historically been associated with women's fragrance, and many of our customers are women. But scent does not have a gender. Anyone drawn to warmth, golden florals, and a soft amber dry-down will find Parisa Marjan suits them.

Worn by a man, it reads as confident, warm, and unexpected. Worn by a woman, it reads as luminous and feminine. Worn by anyone, it reads as Parisa Marjan.

Most amber, vanilla and floral fragrances at lower price points use synthetic accords — lab-created molecules designed to approximate the depth of natural materials. They can smell convincing in the first few minutes, but they tend to flatten quickly, lose complexity, and take on a sharp or sweet edge as they dry down.

Parisa Marjan is formulated with higher-grade raw materials and built at full Eau de Parfum concentration. The result is a scent that evolves on skin rather than simply fading. The opening is distinctly different from the heart, and the dry-down is different again — a progression that lower-concentration or synthetically driven fragrances rarely achieve.

We also macerate our formulations — a resting period after blending where the materials integrate and develop depth. This is the step most mass-produced fragrances skip because it adds time and cost. It is also the step you can hear in the difference.

Parisa Marjan is formulated and produced in small batches, with final bottling and hand-packing completed in Sydney, Australia.

The fragrance was developed over a two-year period of research and refinement, drawing on traditional Arabian perfumery principles and modern formulation techniques. Every batch is macerated before bottling — a resting process that allows the raw materials to integrate fully and develop the depth and complexity you experience on skin.

We do not operate on continuous manufacturing. Each production run is mixed, rested, and bottled as a single batch, which allows us to maintain tighter quality control and work with materials that do not scale well to mass production. When a batch sells out, the next one is produced fresh.
